Annette Caseley used to be a high-flying city lawyer but got fed up with the truth always getting in the way of a good story.
She was brought up in France and Holland by an English father and a German mother, as well as living in Spain as part of her law degree. Her husband calls her Eurototty.
When she’s not making up stories or looking after her family in North London, Annette’s into squash (the sport not the drink).
She is a member of SCBWI and used to organise their brunches in London. She published an anthology of short stories with the Blue Room writers, which included Peter Bunzl.
Annette won free mentorship with Emily Critchley via Write Mentor in 2019. She loves reading funny Middle Grade books, Young Adult novels and psychological thrillers.
